Since the early 1500s, Holstebro has faced repeated fires and floods, yet the town has continually rebuilt itself. Holstebro Museum wanted to share this story of resilience and local pride.
The result is a 5×5 m projection showing a five-minute animated film based on digitized historical maps. A modern grid and dynamic animations highlight when and where each disaster occurred.
The installation is part of the museum’s permanent exhibition on the town’s development.
