The Danish Council for Children (Børnerådet)
The project is a cinematic annual report that uses animation and interviews to show how the year unfolded in the Danish National Council for Children – and why their work remains vital in promoting children’s and young people’s rights.
It was made in collaboration with Klædt På and my role was to design the graphic universe and to animate it.
To reach the target group, positioned between childhood and youth, the visual style draws on a quirky, edgy collage/cut-out look. The aim was to capture a youthful energy without feeling childish, while also representing a diverse range of children.
The animations were combined with interviews and other footage and the final pieces (6 in total) can be viewed on the Council’s website.
